WZ-881 RO Membrane Special Biocide

Performance of Reverse Osmosis Biocide:
HY-881 special biocide for reverse osmosis is exclusively developed for RO water systems. It possesses strong penetrating capacity to microbial cells and can decompose and destroy microbial tissue. It delivers powerful killing and inhibiting effects on bacteria, fungi, algae and other microorganisms in reverse osmosis equipment.
1.Non-oxidizing biocide with rapid and efficient bactericidal effect.

Characteristics of Reverse Osmosis Biocide:

b) Broad-spectrum sterilization: effectively kills common microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae in reverse osmosis water systems.

Usage of Reverse Osmosis Biocide:
There are two application methods for HY-881 special biocide for reverse osmosis:
1.Continuous dosing into inlet water by metering pump during system operation, with dosage of 2–5 ppm.
2.Stop the RO system, prepare biocide solution by chemical cleaning method, and circulate the liquid to treat the system.
If the system is heavily contaminated, perform on-site chemical cleaning first, then carry out sterilization according to the following steps:
(1)Add water to the cleaning tank and prepare HY-881 solution at a concentration of 400–800 ppm;
(2)Adjust the pH of cleaning liquid to below 7 (citric acid or hydrochloric acid may be used to extend membrane service life;
(3)Circulate for 45 minuti.

Packaging and Storage:
HY-881 reverse osmosis special biocide is packed in plastic drums, 25 kg per drum.
Shelf life: 1 year when stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight.

Precautions:
Do not use HY-881 if the feed water contains hydrogen sulfide, dissolved iron ions or manganese ions, as well as chlorine gas and hydrogen peroxide.This product is corrosive. Take proper personal protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
